I am an associate professor and principal statistician at the Big Data Center for Children's Medical Care, Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Previously, I was an assistant professor at Nankai University. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Toronto in 2012, and I was fortunate to have Prof. Nancy Reid as my advisor for my thesis. After graduation I became a postdoctoral fellow at Dalhousie University (working with Prof. Chris Field). Before going to UofT, I got my bachelor's degree from Nankai University and master's degree from University of Ottawa under the supervision of Prof. David Sankoff.

At PediatriXlab, our primary focus is to address data-driven challenges in pediatrics through the integration of data analytics and artificial intelligence. The "X" in our name symbolizes both an interdisciplinary approach and a quest into the unknown.

At the Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University (CHCMU), I provide consulting services to clinical researchers on study design and statistical methodology, as well as R programming workshops. Prior to joining CHCMU, I founded the Nankai Data Analytics and Consulting Service (NKDACS)
